KBOO is sponsoring this event Sunday, July 3
at the Clinton Street Theater
in Portland, Oregon
Vietnam veteran S. Brian Willson paid the price for peace as he was run over and nearly killed by a military train during a non-violent protest. That was in 1987. Since then, he has not stopped calling attention to the US government’s defiance of international law through waging endless illegal wars. “Paying The Price For Peace” exposes the truth about the United States’ addiction to war and the lies it perpetuates in order to wage ongoing violence.
Brian Willson has resided in Portland, Oregon since 2008, and you may have seen him around town on his three-wheeled recumbent cycle. On July 4, 2016 he will turn 75; please help us celebrate the life of this amazing peace activist by turning out for this very special birthday screening on July 3rd at the Clinton Street theater. The film director Bo Boudart and producer Frank Dorrel will also be in attendance.
